Vanessa Khan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Florida Certified Sex Therapist. She graduated from Barry University and has been practicing in South Florida. Vanessa helps her clients find the courage and resiliency to implement change by creating individualized therapeutic journeys towards self-discovery, based on each client’s past experiences and specific goals for therapy.

Vanessa’s engagement with her clients is based on integrity, respect, unconditional regard, & empathic presence, which she believes are key components to establishing a healthy therapist/client relationship. She utilizes client centered techniques, including motivational interviewing, EMDR, CBT, and solution focused therapy interventions.

Vanessa has travelled and lived in different parts of the world and has a unique perspective working with diverse populations. She has extensive experience with adolescents, adults, couples, and the elderly. She is especially knowledgeable about issues surrounding depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and intimacy related issues. She maintains a special interest in working with clients who have experienced sexual trauma. Her goal is to assist clients to recover from the pain and regain sexual function.
